I am excited to start the new year and I am looking forward to seeing all of you in class. This site is to help you focus on what you need to do in order to be successful in my English class. Sophomores, we will be reading Tuesdays With Morrie, Antigone, The Crucible, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar and a variety of poems. Juniors, we will cover a variety of literature, examining how literature is impacted by the time period it is written. We will read, Of Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, The Glass Menagerie and a variety of short stories and speeches. Seniors we will be reviewing for your college application essays as well as covering Death of A Salesman, Frankenstein, Macbeth, Ordinary People and The Ugly American.
All work is expected to be handed in on the due dates as I do NOT accept work late!
This is important to remember as it is your responsibility to be aware of what you are missing. If you are unsure of your grade or what is missing I encourage you to check your grade online at Teacherease.com. I wish you all the best and remind you that I am always here after school for extra help. Parents, I look forward to working with you this year as well and I welcome any and all questions you may have. Here's to a good year!
